Force Academy provides high-level soccer training designed to prepare young athletes for playing at the next level.
Program Overview
Our Force Academy program is designed specifically for U8 and U9 players (ages 7 to 8) to provide a convenient and affordable way to determine whether Select Soccer may be right for them in the future.
Players will enjoy high-level training that will enhance their current and future soccer playing experience regardless of where their path eventually leads them. And if you determine that Select Soccer is something your player wants to pursue, our Force Select Soccer program (starting at age 9) will further prepare them to compete at the high school and college levels.
All training sessions will be conducted by licensed, professional coaching staff. Through our Force Academy training players will not only learn how to beat defenders 1-on-1, but they will also learn why and when to take opponents on, how and when to pass the ball, and how to perform while under pressure.
Learning proper technical skills with the ball leads to player confidence. Confidence leads to smart players. Smart players make for great teammates. Great teammates make for successful teams.
Eligibility
Any active member of a Pilchuck Soccer Alliance recreational soccer team who is or will be in the U8 or U9 age group (age 7 or 8) for the current year’s Fall soccer season is eligible to participate.

Expectations of Players
Although this training is open to all eligible PSA players who want to increase their skill, it is expected that each player will show up on time for each training session (attendance is mandatory), will work hard each day, and will be respectful of the coaches and other players. The training sessions will be fun, but there will be no horseplay or wasted time allowed.
Format
This year we are offering both a Summer & Winter Academy with 6 training sessions each or a total of 12 sessions overall for both Academies.
cost
The cost is $35/player for either the Summer or Winter Academy or $60/player for both Academies. Included with registration is a Force Academy training shirt for each player.

Girls -
Dates: Thursdays - 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8 & 2/15
