Over Father's Day weekend, June 16th to 18th, several of our Force teams competed in the 24th Annual Skagit Firecracker Tournament hosted by Northwest United at Skagit River Park in Burlington, WA. Force competed well in the tournament and two of our girls teams advanced to the finals, with one winning a championship.
Force '02 Girls—2018 Skagit Firecracker U17 Girls Gold Division Tournament Champions
The Force '02 Girls massed 29 points in the group stage with convincing wins over Rush Select Nero (4-1), Fuerza FC Academy (5-0), and Northwest United Red (6-0) to advance to the finals for a rematch with Rush Select. The Force '02 Girls won the final match to become the Girls U17 Gold Division Champions.
Force '04 Girls—2018 Skagit Firecracker U15 Girls Silver Division Tournament Finalists
The Force '04 Girls tallied 26 points in the group stage of the tournament, with wins over Shoreline Sports Club (2-0), Snohomish United Red (1-0), and RGSA Galaxy (4-1) to advance to the final match where they faced off against a solid team from North County Alliance FC. After a fierce battle, North County Alliance ended up defeating Force by a score of 2-0.
